The Jackson Lab investigates microcirculatory control and blood flow distribution in skeletal muscle, under healthy and diseased conditions, using intravital video microscopy and supported by cellular/molecular techniques, and mathematical modelling.  Our work involves understanding the acute and chronic role of sympathetic nervous system signalling in microvessel modulation, angiogenesis, cellular mitogenesis, cellular morphology and cell trafficking.
