My research is associated with interprofessional collaborative practice within this area my current focus is on patient-centred collaborative practice with those who have chronic diseases. My interest is determining how we can assist patients to become members of their health teams. I have developed an instrument to measure collaborative practice and co-developed another instrument that measures socialization towards working interprofessionally. I also co-led development of the CIHC interprofessional collaboration competency framework. Although my research focuses more broadly, MSK is often a co-morbidity in those we study.
