Postdoctoral Fellow Position at Western University - Rheumatology

 A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Lillian Barra (Department of Medicine and Department of Microbiology and Immunology). The research project involves investigating the mechanisms of Rheumatoid Arthritis-associated atherosclerosis.  Research involves extensive work with small animals. The candidate is expected to have recent experience with animal handling, immunohistochemistry, tissue culture, protein biochemistry and immunological techniques such as ELISA, Western Blotting, flow cytometry.

 The candidate must have excellent English communication skills (both written and oral), be able to work both independently and as an effective member of a team.
