Western’s Bone & Joint Institute is pleased to invite all members of London’s research community (scientists, engineers, clinicians, trainees, partners, consumers, staff) with interests in the fields of musculoskeletal, skin or oral health to a Town Hall meeting with Dr. Karim Kahn, the new Scientific Director of IMHA. IMHA is the hub for strategic initiatives in musculoskeletal, skin and oral health research in Canada.  In 2017, Dr. Karim Khan – professor and clinician-scientist in the Department of Family Practice and School of Kinesiology at UBC – was appointed Scientific Director of IMHA. He is now working with the Canadian musculoskeletal, skin and oral health communities to identify research priorities, develop research funding opportunities, build partnerships, and translate research evidence into policy and practice to improve the health of Canadians and people around the world.
