The 23rd "Canadian Connective Tissue Conference" was held May 18-20, 2017 in Montreal. The conference was attended by approximately 200 researchers and trainees from across Canada. The goal of this meeting is to fill the gaps in current scientific and clinical understanding of connective tissues in both health and disease (http://connective-tissue-canada.com/).

Their success underscores the excellent research being carried out within Western's "Bone and Joint Institute" (BJI) and the outstanding environment within the "Collaborative Training Program in Musculoskeletal Health Research" (CMHR).
