Committee for international musculoskeletal physical therapy 2004-2020 (International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapy, IFOMPT). Alison’s research is at the forefront of enhancing our understanding of the assessment and management of musculoskeletal disorders, focused on precision rehabilitation for spinal pain across patient and sporting populations. A comprehensive examination taking into consideration the multifactorial nature of spinal disorders is used to inform targeted interventions tailored to the individual person to optimize effectiveness. Alison's research has been recognized with Fellowships from the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (2007), OMT Espana Terapia Manual Ortopedica (2010), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (2017) and IFOMPT in 2020 for her national and international contribution to musculoskeletal rehabilitation research and education.
