"Dr. Edward (Ted) Vasarhelyi is an Associate Professor in the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Head of the Arthroplasty CTU at University Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre. Originally from Richmond Hill, Ontario, Dr. Vasarhelyi completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, followed by a Master of Science at the University of Waterloo. He then completed his Medical Degree, Orthopaedic Surgery Residency and a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma and Post-Traumatic Reconstruction at Queens University in Kingston. He then came to the University of Western Ontario in 2011 where he completed a Fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction.

Dr. Vasarhelyi's clinical practice is primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty and his research interests include musculoskeletal infections, healthcare economics, gait analysis, and the clinical issues surrounding hip and knee replacements."
