The BJI Grand Challenges Program brings together experts from diverse sectors to address and solve grand challenges.
BJI Catalyst Grants Program
The BJI catalyst grant competition is designed to support interdisciplinary early-stage projects by awarding members up to $130,000 each year in seed funding.
BJI Strategic Fund Program
This program provides BJI members with flexible and timely support for interdisciplinary, transformative research in line with BJI’s strategic priorities.

Held in partnership with the Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship, the MSK Innovation Competition is open to all London-based entrepreneurial MSK experts who’d like to pitch innovative ideas with commercial potential.

The purpose of our transdisciplinary award program is to foster the next generation of MSK researchers and promote an environment of interdisciplinary collaboration.
Western graduate students, postdocs, and clinical scientists interested in interdisciplinary MSK research across all areas of musculoskeletal health are welcome to apply*.
