Using advanced imaging and deep learning techniques, Dr. Gürkan Ünsal's primary research aims to enhance the diagnostic and treatment capabilities within the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. His current research interests include the applications of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in the maxillofacial region, the characterization of oral cancers using 3D imaging modalities, the integration of deep learning in medicine and dentistry, the utilization of intraoral ultrasonography in dental practice, and the imaging and treatment of the temporomandibular joint.
