"The lab uses optical evanescent fields of waveguides and gold surfaces through surface plasmon resonances both SPR and LSPR to investigate ad-layers on surfaces.
These ad-layers can be technical coatings, but also living cells and bacteria.

We develop new microscopy methods such as Waveguide Evanescent Field Fluorescence (WEFF) or Scattering (WEFS) microscopy for quantitative analyses of cell and bacteria adhesion.
In addition with plasmonics, we develop sensing devices."
